Procedure from a preliminary examination for introduction of TradeSafe Trustmark Service to the start of the service
To be entitled to use TradeSafe Trustmark Service, it is necessary to pass the examinations based on this company’s own prescribed standards and make a service contract to comply with relevant laws and Membership Agreement.
Procedure for New Application
STEP 1 | Apply for preliminary examination through ASP Service Administration Page that this company is in cooperation with or send application directly using Preliminary Examination Application Form |

STEP 2 | Preliminary examination and notification of examination result by TradeSafe (by e-mail) |
STEP 3 | Guide to Full Examination (By e-mail) Hand in necessary papers |
STEP 4 | Full examination and notification of examination result by TradeSafe (by e-mail) ※If the shop has been newly opened, it may take 1 to 3 months to go through this process. |
STEP 5 | Hand in the contract with TradeSafe and other papers and transfer the registration fee |
STEP 6 | Start of the services (Display of TradeSafe Trustmark and use of the administration page) |
※Application can be made through the Administration Page of some of the ASP Services TradeSafe is in cooperation with.
Online shop operators eligible for applying for a preliminary examination
- Corporations whose main office is registered in Japan.
- Sole proprietors who have been operating for 6 months or longer since notification of opening of business and whose domiciles are in Japan.
- Corporations or sole proprietors whose online shopping sites have already been opened.
- Corporations or sole proprietors whose main products are not included in this company’s List of Products Not Covered by the Services.(List of Products Not Covered by the Services)
About Membership Agreement
To be entitled to use TradeSafe Trustmark Service, it is necessary to make a contract to become a member of TradeSafe and abide by Membership Agreement.
